Finance Executive – Accounts Payable

Are you an experienced Accounts Payable or Finance Executive with strong accounting fundamentals and a sharp eye for detail?

At Keypath Education, we partner with leading universities to deliver high-quality online education programs that help professionals advance their careers. We're looking for a Finance Executive to join our APAC Finance team and take ownership of key Accounts Payable activities, ensuring invoices are processed accurately, efficiently and in line with financial controls.

This is a hybrid role, with one day per week in our Subang Jaya office and the flexibility to work remotely for the remainder of the week.

About the Role

You'll play a hands-on role in managing the Accounts Payable process, using your accounting knowledge and judgement to ensure invoices are correctly coded, approved and processed.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Process and review vendor invoices across multiple service types, ensuring accurate GL coding and department allocation

• Apply sound accounting knowledge and judgement to determine the correct coding based on the nature of each expense

• Independently verify, match and post invoices, ensuring all required approvals and supporting documentation are in place

• Manage invoice workflows through Medius, maintaining workflow accuracy and system integrity

• Maintain accurate vendor master data in line with internal controls and governance requirements

• Own the AP inbox, responding to vendor queries and resolving invoice issues promptly

• Support internal and external audits by providing complete and accurate AP documentation

• Support employee expense claims through Concur

• Assist with Accounts Receivable activities and other ad hoc Finance tasks as required

What You'll Bring

We're looking for someone who is confident working independently, takes ownership of their work and understands that accuracy comes with strong accounting judgement.

To be successful you'll have:

• A Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field from a recognised Malaysian university

• 2–3 years' Accounts Payable experience, ideally within a shared services, finance operations or regional environment

• Hands-on experience with Medius or similar invoice automation/workflow tools

• Exposure to ERP systems and/or Concur is highly regarded

• Strong accounting fundamentals and confidence applying GL coding and expense allocation — you know the right treatment rather than relying on guesswork

• A proven track record of precision and accuracy across multiple invoice and expense categories

• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy while managing volume

• A self-driven approach — you're comfortable working independently and taking ownership without needing constant supervision

• Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders

• A willingness to learn, adapt and grow within a fast-paced, global organisation
